Computer World just published a post showing off five laptop concept art creations.
My favorite is by far number 2 with two screens, the ability to use a stylus or type on a keyboard, not to mention the two stand up displays!
I have never really cared about the weight or thickness of my laptop so long as I am able to carry it, the battery lasts long enough and it’s got all the features I want. I still have yet to find one with a built in document scanner.

1) Compenion concept notebook designed by Felix Schmidberger
Great design and sleek look. Very futuresque. I’m not sure if this design is similar to number 2 in that it has two screens which can change, as they only show a keyboard on the one.
2) The Canova concept notebook from V12 Design
My personal favorite! Two touch screens for interaction or just display. Who cares if it’s that thick when it looks that good!
3) The Siafu concept notebook, designed for the blind by Jonathan Lucas
These pictures are really dark and I’m afraid I don’t understand this design, but the curves make for a nice looking machine.
4) The Cario concept notebook from Anna Lopez
Also very nice. The detachable keyboard is a definite plus. I would not recommend having the laptop inside the steering wheel while driving, unless your browsing Google maps.
5) The Solar Laptop Concept, designed by Nikola Knezevic
Beautiful and eco-friendly. However, as most of us use laptops indoors and transport them inside bags, I’m not sure how this device is going to charge off the sun.
