Lifehacker does their “One Year Ago With Lifehacker” post, and today’s had a great article in it titled “Living With Windows.”
This is a great article, talking about different software substitutions to make Microsoft’s OS more bearable.
However, the author, Jason Thomas, talks mostly about UNIX solutions to the problem.
I know little about Linux, but I’m trying to learn, and I know even less about UNIX, so this poses a little bit of a problem for me.
Regardless, anything that makes Windows more bearable and usable is great. I had never used the Desktop Toolbar before, but I added it after reading the article and I’m already enjoying it.
